l  POM和PA材料具備良好的機械強度及耐磨性，適合製作比較精密的塑膠軸承，其良好的自潤滑性能及低的磨擦係數，在保持塑膠軸承傳統優勢的基礎上，可應用於精密及較高轉速運轉。其中POM塑膠軸承是所有塑膠軸承中應用最為廣泛的一種，一般內外球材料採用POM或PA，保持架採用玻璃纖維增強的尼龍66（GRPA66—25）。滾珠為玻璃球，不銹鋼球或陶瓷球，此種軸承鹼性環境下表現良好但不適合在酸性腐蝕環境下運行。
