HDPE、PP、UPE材料已證明能用於相對較弱的酸堿交叉環境（30%Cucl2溶液和30%NaoH溶液測試OK）故適用於大多數酸/鹼/鹽/溶濟/油/氣體及海水腐蝕環境。具備一般塑膠軸承之無油自潤滑，抗磁電絕緣等性能，但機械強度較低，容易變形，故此類抗酸堿塑膠軸承不適用於較大負荷及較高轉速，為克服此類抗酸鹼塑膠軸承的缺點。相比較而言，採用UPE材料則具備更佳的強度，低磨擦特性及低溫應用特性（最低可至－150℃），一般內外圈材料採用HDPE、PP或UPE，保持架材料採用HDPE、PP或UPE，滾珠為玻璃球、不銹鋼球或陶瓷球。這樣抗酸堿軸承綜合性能將會得到較大提高。
